What We Believe
The church adopts as a summary of our faith The Baptist Confession of Faith (1689). This confession of faith gives a concise statement of biblical doctrine. In no way is it equal to the infallible authority of the Word of God. The 1689 Confession is also available in Tagalog: Ang Pagpapahayag ng Pananampalatayang Baptist ng 1689.

The Holy Scripture is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience. Although the light of nature and the works of creation and providence manifest the goodness, wisdom, and power of God so much that man is left without any excuse, they are not sufficient to provide that knowledge of God and His will which is necessary for salvation.

In the mercy and goodness of the Lord CRBC began following the decision of Wattisham Strict and Particular Baptist Church, Suffolk, England in 1977 to send Brian and Necy Ellis back to the Philippines. The Ellises had formerly been involved in church planting ministry in the Philippines with an interdenominational missionary society.
